On Saturday, May 18th, the Houston Choral Society, under the direction of Dr. Kevin Klotz, presents Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living, also featuring Brahms’ Schicksalslied.
All-State Singers, you are invited!
All students who qualify and participate in the All-State Choir are invited to join the Houston Choral Society during their performance of Brahms’ Schicksalslied, which will be the first work in the evening’s program. Only the first 35 singers who qualify and submit their request will be accepted.

Concert Date: Saturday, May 18th at 7:30, call time for singers: 6:05
Where: Foundry United Methodist Church, 8350 Jones Road, Houston, TX 77065
Singers are also invited to join us in performing the second work on the program, Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living. In order to do this, singers must attend regular Monday rehearsal starting on March 11th. Scores of this work will be lent to those singers who will be singing.
Rehearsals: Rehearsals for this concert program will start on Monday, March 11th @7pm for those who are singing the Requiem for the Living. All singers will be required to attend both dress rehearsals.
