Hello to all our Houston Choral Society travelers! We had a wonderful tour launch and informational meeting the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Understandably, though it was the only day the tour company representative could present, it was difficult for everyone who was interested to attend. You can find video links to that whole presentation at the bottom of this email. So now the only thing you missed was coffee and Italian cookies!
To keep our communication streamlined, we have developed a new 2021HCS Italy Tour Dashboard, which you can find at houstonchoral.org/tour. The password to access this site is encore21. This is similar to our Member Dashboard, but it is a different site to keep this communication separate from our regular rehearsal information.
We have hard copies of the itinerary and highlights of the trip, in addition to information on our excellent fundraiser for a free trip to either Paris or London in 2020. Each of these documents can be picked up on any Monday night at rehearsal and will appear on the Tour Dashboard in the coming days.
It is very important that we get anyone who is planning to attend registered ASAP to secure pricing and our space on this trip with the tour company. The itinerary states the deadline for registration past this last Sunday, but we have extended the deadline until January 13. The deposit for registration is $200, either for the tour package including airfare, or for the land-only choice.
